Sapna Verma - Makeup Artist
I am Sapna Verma, Gurgaon based woman entrepreneur.
I own and run a Unisex Salon & Training Centre by the name Shimmer & Muse in Sector-86, Gurgaon
Post Graduate in International Business and NET Qualified, I always had a strong academic inclination and a flair for Business & Economics.
Having around 15 years of teaching experience (PGT Economics & Business Studies), my deep rooted instinct and love for glam made me drift towards the razzmatazz of the Fashion & Beauty Industry.
Inspired by the magnanimous growth and surge in the world of glamour, it was about time for me to take the plunge and explore the creative side of me.
I started off by watching YouTube makeup tutorials and the art of makeup was truly enchanting to me. I started creating different makeup looks on myself and found it quite interesting let alone my soul calling.
There was no looking back for me once I realised that my turf lies in the world of makeup and fashion.
After about 8 years of freelancing experience as a makeup artist, having catered to hundreds of clients, travelling to various cities all Over India, I finally mustered the confidence and wisdom to start my business in the salon vertical.
Today, I run a successful Unisex Salon and Makeup studio in Gurgao
The teacher inside of me never died, and my love for the same manifested in the form of a training centre where we teach makeup artistry, nail technology, hair & skin.
I truly believe that if one dreams, have an indefatigable approach towards one’s passion, and is tenacious in one’s efforts, then nothing is impossible.
My policy lies in ‘Adding Value’ to all stakeholders of our business including our clients, team, vendors, brands, et al’, and offer high quality services with utmost professionalism.
An honest approach goes a long way in one’s success story, and I am proud of my story so far!
